Subtracting Fractions

Borrowing with fractions follows the same logic as borrowing with whole numbers - except that with fractions the size relationship is not 10 to 1 - you need to convert a whole into whatever size pieces you need to give away.

Again, the graphics provide an intuitive feel for the process.
